Mechanical Fitting Across the Port of Brisbane
The port precinct runs on bulk handling: conveyors, pumps, valves and rotating plant moving grain, cement, fuel and containers around the clock. OMS provides trade qualified mechanical fitters for planned maintenance and shutdowns across Lytton, Hemmant, Pinkenba and Eagle Farm, working to strict site permit systems.
Most of our work is scheduled maintenance, maintenance contracts and planned shutdowns, booked ahead and delivered on site. We travel to sites across the Port of Brisbane from our South East Queensland base, and we will always try to help when something stops.
Every fitter we send is trade qualified and insured, and works to your site induction and permit-to-work, isolation, JHA/JSA, SWMS and Take 5 systems.

Do you provide mechanical fitters in the Port of Brisbane?
Yes. OMS provides trade qualified mobile mechanical fitters across Port of Brisbane, Lytton and Pinkenba, including Port of Brisbane, Lytton, Hemmant, Pinkenba, Eagle Farm, for scheduled maintenance, contracts and shutdowns.
Do you have a workshop in the area?
No. We are a mobile service, travelling to sites across the Port of Brisbane from our South East Queensland base. Work is planned and booked ahead.
Can you work to our site permit and induction systems?
Yes. Our tradespeople work to permit-to-work, isolation, JHA/JSA, SWMS and Take 5 systems and complete your site inductions. We can provide insurances and tickets for prequalification.

Most of our work is booked in, so we can't promise to be free. But if we're available, we'll come, and we'll tell you honestly straight away whether we can get there. If we can't, we'll say so, so you can call someone else.
