Mobile by Design
OMS keeps civil contractors, quarries, manufacturers and industrial facilities running. We don't run a big workshop with overheads you end up paying for: we come to the machine or the plant, find the fault, fix it properly and tell you straight what we found.
We don't just bring anyone on site. Every fitter we send is trade qualified, and our tradespeople have broad experience across heavy industry, so the person who turns up has seen your kind of equipment before. When a job is niche, we bring in a tradesperson with specialist experience in that equipment.
That background comes from some of the most demanding environments in Australian industry: power stations, coal mines, LNG and processing plants, where downtime is measured in dollars per minute and work is done to strict permit and safety systems. The same standard comes to every local job, whether it's a mini excavator on a house site or a conveyor on a quarry.

Where Our Tradespeople Come From
Power generation
Gas turbine and generator overhauls, rotor removal and refit, pumps, compressors, gearboxes and precision alignment on base-load and peaking plant.
Mining
Underground and surface coal operations: longwall builds, teardowns and remediation, conveyor upgrades, and heavy mobile plant on FIFO rosters.
Heavy diesel & earthmoving
Dozers, haul trucks, excavators, loaders and graders in workshop and field, through to the mini excavators and track loaders on local civil jobs.
Processing & food
Field service for a global industrial valve manufacturer: valves, actuators, relief valves, pumps and hygienic process plant.
Fabrication & machining
MIG, TIG and stick welding, lathe and mill work, and structural and industrial fabrication to support repairs on site.
Shutdown supervision
Supervising mechanical crews through shutdowns: scope, permits, safety, sequencing and a clean hand-back on schedule.

Are all your fitters trade qualified?
Yes. We only put trade qualified fitters on site. When a job needs niche experience, we bring in a tradesperson who specialises in that equipment rather than sending whoever is free.
Where do you work?
Mobile servicing and breakdown repairs across South East Queensland, from the Gold Coast to Gympie. Planned shutdown and project work anywhere in Australia, including interstate and FIFO rosters.
Are you insured?
Yes. We're fully insured for on-site mechanical and heavy diesel work, and we can send certificates with your quote.
Can you work to our site's safety systems?
Yes. Our tradespeople work to permit-to-work, isolation, JHA/JSA, SWMS and Take 5 systems every day on mining, power generation and processing sites.
