Excavator Repairs Done On Your Site
An excavator is the most worked machine on most sites, and the one you can least afford to lose. OMS provides excavator repairs and servicing across South East Queensland, engine, hydraulics, undercarriage, slew and final drives, carried out where the machine is working so you're not floating it anywhere.
As an excavator mechanic with both mobile and fixed-plant experience, we look past the obvious. Slow tracking, weak breakout, a slew that hesitates, swing motor noise, pin and bush slop, a final drive that's running hot: each has a handful of likely causes, and we diagnose to the actual fault before quoting parts. Excavator servicing is run on a schedule too, with oil sampling so wear shows up in the report before it shows up as a failure.
We work across CAT, Komatsu, Hitachi, Kobelco, Kubota and Volvo, plus the rest of the brands common on coast job sites, from 1.7t mini diggers through to 30-tonne-plus machines.

Do you repair excavators on-site or in a workshop?
On-site, in most cases. We come to your job site or yard across South East Queensland with diagnostics and common parts. Only major component rebuilds go off-site, and we coordinate that for you.
Which excavator brands do you work on?
CAT, Komatsu, Hitachi, Kobelco, Kubota and Volvo, plus Hyundai, Doosan, Sany, Takeuchi, Yanmar and others. We cover mini diggers through to large-class machines.
My excavator is slow and gutless, engine or hydraulics?
Usually hydraulics, but not always. Weak breakout and slow tracking can be pump wear, a control valve, a relief setting or a diesel that's derating under load. We diagnose to the real cause before quoting any parts.
Can you service my excavator on a schedule?
Yes. We run scheduled excavator servicing with oil and filter changes plus oil sampling, so wear trends in the engine, hydraulics and final drives show up early, well before they turn into a roadside failure.

Most of our work is booked in, so we can't promise to be free. But if we're available, we'll come, and we'll tell you honestly straight away whether we can get there. If we can't, we'll say so, so you can call someone else.
