A shutdown is the one window where the work that can't be done in production finally gets done, and the one window where every hour overrun is counted against the restart. Good shutdown maintenance contractors turn up planned, work to scope, flag the surprises early, and hand the plant back when they said they would.
We only put trade qualified fitters on site. Our tradespeople regularly work and supervise shutdowns in mining, power generation and processing, including interstate and fly-in fly-out shutdowns. That's where the discipline comes from: tight schedules, high standards and a clean hand-back.
Between them they have overhauled gas turbines and generators, built and remediated longwall equipment underground, maintained heavy mobile plant on coal operations, and run field service for a global industrial valve manufacturer. For niche scopes we bring in tradespeople with specialist experience in that equipment.
We take on planned shutdown and project work anywhere in Australia. Our mobile servicing and day-to-day maintenance stays in South East Queensland.

Do you travel interstate for shutdowns?
Yes. We take on planned shutdown and outage work anywhere in Australia, including fly-in fly-out rosters. Our mobile breakdown service stays in South East Queensland.
Have you worked interstate and FIFO shutdowns before?
Yes. Our tradespeople regularly work and supervise interstate and FIFO shutdowns in mining, power generation and processing, so the rosters, permits and pace are familiar.
Can you work under our supervision or take on part of the scope?
Either. We can work as part of your shutdown team under your supervision, or take on a defined part of the scope and deliver it. Tell us the scope and the window and we'll tell you straight what we can cover.
Will you work to our permit and safety systems?
Yes. We work to your permit-to-work, isolation, JHA/JSA, SWMS and site standards. That's how shutdown work is done on the sites we come from.
What inductions and tickets do you hold?
Tickets held across our team include Standard 11 (surface and underground coal), Coal Board Medical, Queensland Coal Mining Supervisor (S123, now G189), Risk Facilitator (G2), Confined Space Entry and Gas Testing, Working at Heights, EWP, Forklift, White Card and Escape from Hazardous Situations. We match tickets to your site, can send copies with your quote and obtain additional tickets as required.
Can you help plan the shutdown scope, not just execute it?
Yes. We can walk the plant ahead of the stop, help build and prioritise the scope, and identify the parts and access you'll need lined up before the window opens.
