Good Fitters, Good Work

OMS is growing, particularly around Brisbane and South East Queensland. When we take people on, we want trade qualified fitters who take pride in their work, communicate well with clients and work safely.

The work is varied: planned maintenance and servicing on fixed and process plant, hygienic and industrial valves, heavy diesel and earthmoving machines on site, and planned shutdowns across Queensland, interstate and in New Zealand.

Whether your background is mechanical, heavy diesel or both, we'd like to hear from you.

What we look for

A mechanical or heavy diesel trade qualification
A current White Card
Experience working to permit-to-work, isolation, JHA/JSA, SWMS and Take 5 systems
Good communication with clients and site teams
A current driver licence
Site tickets such as Standard 11 are a bonus

The Work

Where You Could Work

Mechanical

Fixed and process plant, pumps, gearboxes, conveyors and valves in food, beverage, water and industrial plants.

Heavy diesel

Servicing and repairs on excavators, loaders, dozers and civil plant, on site across South East Queensland.

Shutdowns

Planned shutdowns and outages in Queensland, interstate and New Zealand.
