Keep the Belt Running True
Head, tail, drive, snub and bend pulleys carry the whole belt. A noisy bearing, worn lagging or a pulley running out of line shows up first as tracking problems and belt damage, then as an unplanned stop. OMS provides trade qualified fitters for conveyor pulley repair and replacement, planned around your production or shutdown window.
We replace pulley bearings and plummer blocks in place, remove and refit pulleys, and arrange relagging and pulley refurbishment through specialist workshops. After the change-out we align the pulley and check belt tracking before hand-back.
Our tradespeople have supervised overland conveyor upgrades and worked conveyor shutdowns on mine sites, to permit-to-work, isolation, JHA/JSA, SWMS and Take 5 systems.

Conveyor Pulley Questions
Can you replace conveyor pulley bearings without removing the pulley?
Often, yes. Depending on access and the bearing arrangement, plummer blocks and bearings can be changed in place.
Do you reline or relag pulleys?
We arrange relagging and pulley refurbishment through specialist workshops, and handle the removal, refit and alignment ourselves.
Can you do pulley change-outs during a shutdown?
Yes. We plan pulley change-outs into your shutdown scope, with spares and lifting lined up before the window opens.
