Keep Treatment Plant Running
Water treatment plants run around the clock, and a stuck valve, a failing pump seal or a worn actuator can take a process train offline. OMS provides trade qualified mechanical fitters for the valves, pumps and rotating plant that keep a treatment plant running.
Our tradespeople have extensive valve and actuator experience, including field service for a global industrial valve manufacturer, plus pump overhauls, precision alignment and shutdown work on critical plant. We work to your permit-to-work, isolation, JHA/JSA, SWMS and Take 5 systems, confined space requirements and isolation procedures.
We can support your own maintenance team with extra hands, take on a defined scope, or set up a scheduled maintenance program so problems are caught before they stop the plant.

Who can service valves at a water treatment plant in South East Queensland?
OMS provides trade qualified mechanical fitters for valve and actuator servicing, overhauls and replacement at water treatment plants across South East Queensland, including Brisbane, the Gold Coast, Ipswich, Moreton Bay and the Sunshine Coast.
Do your fitters hold confined space tickets?
Yes. Our tradespeople hold Confined Space Entry and Gas Testing and Working at Heights, and work to your permit and isolation systems.
Can you work alongside our own maintenance team?
Yes. We can supply extra hands under your supervision, take on a defined scope, or run a scheduled maintenance program.
Do you work on council and water authority sites?
Yes. We work to site inductions and contractor requirements, and can provide our insurances, tickets and safety documentation for prequalification and tenders.
Can you help during a plant shutdown?
Yes. We provide trade qualified fitters for planned shutdowns to service, overhaul or replace valves, pumps and drives while the plant is offline.
