As a trade-qualified Mechanical Fitter with experience across mining, heavy industry and earthmoving equipment, we support operators with breakdown repairs, fault finding and diagnostics, preventative maintenance, scheduled servicing, hydraulic fault finding and component replacement — all aimed at minimising downtime and improving equipment reliability.
Most of the work falls into two camps. At one end is the breakdown — a machine stopped on site, work held up, and a need to find the fault and get it running again. We carry out breakdown repairs on-site, starting with proper fault finding and diagnostics rather than swapping parts on a hunch, so the repair holds and the machine isn't back down with the same problem a week later. At the other end is planned work: scheduled servicing and preventative maintenance that catch wear before it turns into a failure and keep a fleet predictable.
Between those two ends sits the bulk of the day-to-day — hydraulic system issues, cooling system faults and general mechanical repairs, carried out as the machine needs them. When a fault is traced, the repair is done properly and clear notes go back for your service records so the machine's history stays current.
